Connect Stripe.One read-only key. It can’t move money.

In Stripe, open Developers, then API keys, and choose Create restricted key. If asked how you’ll use it, pick another app or service.

Name it something like “Revenue verification (read-only)”.

Set Charges, Balance transactions and Subscriptions to Read. Leave everything else at None.

Create the key and copy it. It starts with rk_live_. Test keys (rk_test_) verify too, but never appear on the public leaderboard.

Never paste a secret key. Keys starting with sk_ can move money, so we reject them.

Amounts, currencies, dates and types
Monthly totals, kept as sums only

See customer names, emails or cards
Store single transactions

OpenRev reads revenue with read-only keys and stores totals only. Instagram handles are self-reported unless they carry the blue check.
